January 11, 1951 Frank C. Altrock, 78, died on December 26th in Sandusky, Ohio, following a 3-month illness. He had been a resident of Vermillion, Ohio, for the past 17 years. An iron moulder by trade, he had owned and operated the Conrad Iron Works in Boyne City from 1912 to 1925. Surviving are two sons, J. C. Altrock of Atlanta, Ga., and Irving of Baltimore, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Olga Mikell, Cleveland; Tharsie Feavyear and Hattie Shaefer of Saginaw and a brother Charles of Manistee. Services were held at the Fisher Funer Home in Vermilion at 2 p.m., December 29th, the Rev. Earl T. English officiating. Burial was made in the Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. |
