Golden H. Altrock, 72, of 264 First Ave., Manistee died Wednesday at West Shore Hospital, Manistee.

He was born May 30, 1911 in Manistee, the son of Charles and Matilda (Beyers) Altrock. He was a retired master mechanic for Century Boat Company and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Manistee Aerie 1765.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys, one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Rosemary) Totch of Manistee, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Allen and Carl Altrock, both of Ludington and Louie Altrock of Bellaire, numerous nieces and nephews.

The body of Mr. Altrock was cremated and private funeral services will be held. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The Johnson Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of arrangements.
