Herman Altrock, aged 78 years, died at his home, 202 Cleveland Street last night at 9 o'clock of a complication of diseases. The funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, and interment in Oak Grove cemetery. Deceased is survived by a widow and seven children, three daughters and four sons. Deceased is a pioneer resident of Manistee, having resided here for many years."

Herman Altrock, 202 Cleveland street, a resident of Manistee for the past 25 years, died last night from dropsy at the age of 78 years. He leaves a wife, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Geshe, Mrs. J.M. Mikell and Miss Tharsi Altrock of Manistee, and four sons, Frank of Boyne City, August of Chicago and Charles and Arthur of Manistee. The funeral will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and Rev. F. Ebert will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove cemetery."
