Mrs. Allen (Irma E.) Altrock

Mrs. Allen (Irma E.) Altrock, 75 of 309 N. Harrison St., died Tuesday morning at Memorial Medical Center after an extended illness.

Irma Elsie Rademaker was born June 10, 1910 in Eastlake, Manistee, where she grew up and went to school. She was married Sept. 30, 1927 in Manistee to Allen G. Altrock and he preceded her in death in 1984. She was affiliated with the Washington Avenue Baptist Church.

She worked for a number of years at Glen of Michigan and hardy Salt in Manistee. She also worked for many years as a seamstress for Wolverine Sportswear.

Surviving are one son, Roger Altrock of Ludington; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Rogene) Lathouwers of Ludington; two grandchildren, Richie and Reid Lathouwers; three brothers, Lloyd of Manistee, Clarence of Muskegon and Burns of Green Bay; four sisters, Mrs. Michael (Ruth) Oleniczak of Manistee, Mrs. Evart (Eleanor) Peterson of Manistee, Mrs. LaVerne (Jeanette) Jorgensen of Traverse City and Mrs. William (JoAnne) O'Connor of Lombard, Ill; nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Mrs. Altrock will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dorrell Funeral Home with the Rev. George Butler of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. The family will be present to receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
